Title of the paper: Relationship between men and women in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Taming of the Shrew and Twelfth Night.

Author or topic: William Shakespeare

Abstract:

As the introduction shows, we are going to work on Shakespeare’s comedies, paying attention to the role men and women have on them. Using A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Taming of the Shrew and Twelfth Night, we are going to analyze the main family relationships in which men and women are involved. Thus, we use these comedies to exemplify our conclusions in the father-daughters relationship and marriage constraints as well as the relationship among siblings reflected in Twelfth Night through the change of gender. Is it in the conclusion where the final ideas are presented.
